Nokia launches a new application that will breathe life into clients mobile drilling. Users can choose between different applications, videos, games, productivity tools, web, podcasts, location services and more. The Ovi Store enables developers to list their programs in an online catalog so that users can easily download or buy.
More than 50 Nokia devices compatible with the store Ovi and can be accessed by visiting store.ovi.com on the browser or download the standalone version of the application on your phone. We tried on our E71 and it worked on both the browser and through the application. The first game was successfully installed our phone crash, but well save this as the fault of the application rather than Ovi Store.
Paid applications are also available, but the shop began to slow to a crawl as we wanted to try that. Perhaps a sign of teething problems. Nine selected countries, mainly in Europe but also including Australia and Singapore, also have a store dedicated Ovi which gives residents the opportunity to pay for programs through mobile operators outside of the standard billing credit card.

Weather App Is Now In Your Nokia Maps

Beta Labs guys are happy to announce another updated Nokia Maps with new features and improvements. The version 3.08(12) brings weather forecast in your own mapping system and new installation UI. The update also brings improvements on the live traffic routing on your Drive screen as well as on the search results. One crash issue has been resolved in this update.


Lists of changes and new features are:

• Removed metric/imperial options from Drive UI

After releasing only a few days ago, version 2.12.042, in the last hour again Nokia has updated the client Ovi Store for Symbian devices and Symbian Anna ^ 3.The release just released, we have not yet detected, is numbered 2.12.043 and should fix some bugs in previous release.

Nokia Maps Beta demo on iPad – Web Browser Maps with Navigation and Search

Last month Nokia released the Nokia Maps for non-Nokia devices. The first to be supported of this Nokia Maps with free navigation and search were the HTML5 browser supported devices. These includes your iOS such as iPad, iPhone, and also for Androids one and others that support HTML5.

Nokia Ovi Store client updated to v2.12.042 for Symbian^3 and Anna devices

Ovi Store has received a minor update for Symbian^3 & Anna devices to v2.12.042. Its previous software version was 2.12.033.

You can update your client by just opening the Ovi Store client on you mobile. We don’t have official changelog yet, but the updated client is now improved and fast. The update is about 4.29 MB in size. Hopefully it should have fixed the bugs present in older version.
