1. Install [NokiaVNN.com]NortonSymbianHack_S60v3_s60v5_S^3_S^4.sisx from the download package below.


2. Launch Norton


3. Go Options- Anti-Virus - Quarantine list


4. Go Options - Restore, accept prompt


5. Exit application, delete from App manager (Symantec Symbian Hack). Also delete c:\shared\ folder.
6. Install [NokiaVNN.com]RomPatcherPlus_3.1.sisx from the download package below.
7. Launch and apply patches:
- Open4all for full access to file system
- Installserver for installing any unsigned applications (if you see a red cross on install server patch in Rom Patcher - get installserver.exe from here and enable OPEN4ALL patch from ROM Patcher then move installserver.exe to C:/Sys/Bin via X-plore.)

3. Sign it with your certificate and key using the Signer Application supplied .
4. Install Hello OX 2.11 unsigned.sis and run it.
5. It will perform all the processes itself and within a minute your phone will be hacked.


Note: In case you want to un-hack your phone again, just Run Hello OX 2.11 again from the menu and it will give you two options.

How to Flash and Hack Nokia N8 with Custom Firmware to Avoid Certificate Errors via Phoenix

This Tutorial is definitely a complex one, for your ease we have now posted one click hacking for Symbian^3 by using Hello OX 2.11 over here.


This Guide is for Power Users who are capable to take Risks and know to play with technical stuff.

Notes:
a. Flash at your own risk, we bear no responsibility for any problem(s) occurring to your device due to flashing...
b. Uninstalling is only possible after the first Restart of phone!
c. The internal file manager does not show the system folder (have deliberately left out)
d. This flashing process has been tested on Win XP 32 bit and Windows 7 32 Bit
e. Its better to turn off antivirus while flashing
f. Press *#0000# to see your Product Code
g. In photos, RM-596 FW is taken as an example, u can take any Symbian device and firmware
h. and make sure you are not downgrading i.e flashing the lower version than the current device version (It will make your phone dead) (For instance you have firmware version 14.2 and you are flashing with firmware version 13.1, in that case you will brick your phone)
i. make sure you are not flashing an edited rofs2 or rofs3... (You have to use overwrite trick for flashing with hacked UDA, more details are mentioned at Step no 10)


Basic requirements:


i.) Download NaviFirm from here and Pheonix from here


ii.) Open NaviFirm which u downloaded from the above link, select your device + product code [see note f] and download the following 9 files (while downloading, focus on the extensions, which I have mentioned in bold letters below and keep an extra backup of these Original Files):
1. 0x0-0xxxx0_Pxxxx_00x.xml (Type Label Configuration)
2. 0xxxx0vx.pcx (Type Label Picture)
3. RM-xxx_014.002_14.0x_xxx_x_79.92_prd.rofs2.fpsx
4. RM-xxx_014.002_79.92_prd.core.fpsx
5. RM-xxx_014.002_Cxx.xx_xxx_1_xxx_79.92_prd.rofs3.fpsx
6. RM-xxx_014.002_Uxx.xx_79.92_prd.uda.fpsx (Content)
7. RM-xxx_0xxxxxx_014.002_00x.dcp
8. RM-xxx_0xxxxxx_014.002_00x.vpl
9. RM-xxx_0xxxxxx_014.002_00x_signature.bin


Sometimes it may not show you the 9 files which is mentioned above and may show only 6 files... In this case try to switch between the Nokia Care and Product External, as sometimes one of these source will have full files... See an example below for understanding:








iii.) Turn off your Antivirus, install the Pheonix which u have downloaded from the above link and restart ur system...


Now u r ready for flashing, follow the brief steps below CAREFULLY to avoid frustration and problems...


Brief steps of flashing to solve the crc checksum error:


1. Rename the provided uda file to your uda file name 'RM-xxx_014.002_U0x.0x_xx.xx_prd.uda.fpsx'
2. Copy paste the original 9 firmware files which u have downloaded through NaviFirm to C:/Program Files/Nokia/Phoenix/Products/RM-xxx/
3. Connect ur device (C7/N8/E7/xx) through Ovi Suite and wait if any drivers’ installation is in progress
4. When driver installation in done and it shows that drivers are up-to-date, then execute Phoenix (better right click and run as administrator)





5. Go to Manage Connection > USBx - RM-xxx







6. Go to File > Scan Product > and wait until the bottom bar of the phoenix says ready and will display your phone's connection








7. Go to Flashing > Firmware Update > Choose your product code (05xxxxx)













8. Press Refurbish button!





9. There will be a warning about the file is not complete / missing bla..bla..bla.. (this step is important)





10. This is very important!!! Don’t press anything in Pheonix yet and go to the provided hacked uda!
11. Copy paste the provided CFW / hacked UDA file (that has been renamed) to C:/Program Files/Nokia/Phoenix/Products/RM-xxx/ and overwrite it. If its not over written, probably you have to rename it according to the original firmware UDA.
12. Now come back to Phoenix and press ‘YES’...





13. Wait until flashing process completes... And then, u r Done!!!





Now your Nokia N8 has been hacked with Random User's Custom Firmware. You can easily install unsigned Applications which used to give annoying certificate errors. Rom Patcher v3.0 can now be installed on your Phone. You can also disable the Call Recording Beep using Rom Patcher.

1. Install FreeSigner (File can be found below) in your Nokia N8.

3. After installing, open FreeSigner (in your Nokia N8).
4. Click on option -> settings.
5. In the settings screen fill the Sign Cert and Sign Key options by locating the certificate and key stored on your Nokia N8.
6. Now add Application/Game/Theme (For signing).
7. Click on option -> Sign Sis -> Go.
8. After signing the file successfully, install the file on your Nokia N8.
9. Now open App from application folder located in your Nokia N8.

Then go to options and u will find four options :

" certificate tool" .

Step 5- after that again it will show two options.

Choose second one which is

"a button to download ".

Step 6-Then downloading will start.

Step 7- then it will ask to save.

Then select memory card.

Step 8- then browse to memory card.

There u will find a folder named

" my cert ".

Ur certificates and key files are in the folder.

Note : The certificates generated by this method have 17 capabilities like opda's certificates and will expire after 3 years.

Then again download ur certificates after 3 years which can be used for next three years.
